The developing situation in Ukraine might be a scary time for kids worldwide. With that fear comes tough questions and a sense of responsibility to have an open dialogue. Here are some resources to help guide the conversation in a way that feels safe for you and your family.
We’re excited to announce the 2021-22 New Victory Season, thoughtfully curated by our Artistic Director Mary Rose Lloyd. With continued emphasis on the health and safety of our kids and families, we found new ways to change our seating plans, show schedules and protocols so that you can have a little peace of mind with every ticket purchase. We will release policies around specific shows at the time of their on-sale dates. By trusting us with your return to the theater, you will discover a mix of in-person productions and virtual presentations that offer you the flexibility of choice in the year ahead.
Juneteenth, celebrated annually on June 19th since 1865, commemorates the emancipation of enslaved Americans. Last year, we made a commitment to celebrate the holiday through New Victory Arts Break, sharing more about the event’s historical and cultural context and exploring the relationship between activism and the arts. The response from you and from the hundreds of teachers we work with was overwhelmingly positive.

New Victory audiences have expanded as we embrace our family of international artists and help kids discover global cultures, art forms and human experiences through New Victory Arts Break. This series of free arts curriculum has garnered over 750,000 national and international online views through our website.
Congratulations to Courtney J. Boddie and Lindsey Buller Maliekel on their promotions to the New 42 Executive Team!
Any impediment can be viewed as an opportunity for growth, a moment to test our powers of creativity, and a chance to begin anew.
We’ve compiled some of their work for our fellow New Yorkers to enjoy, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.
We invite you and your family to pack up your imaginations and trot along with us as we visit Australia, India and Canada!
