The popular TV series for kids features New Victory Teaching Artists leading do-it-yourself arts activities. Episodes air weekdays on WLIW21 and THIRTEEN this summer, and are available for streaming on THIRTEEN’S website.
Last year, we honored and celebrated Juneteenth as part of a week-long Arts Break. This year we’re combining celebration and activism with more activities from New Victory Teaching Artists that call each of us to harness our creativity in commemoration of the past and in service of the ongoing fight for equity and liberation.
What do you see in the world? Last week, we developed creative characters through movement, and this week we’ll look at the places we live to help shape the stories we share. We may soon see that wherever we look, there’s joy to be found!
