Last year, we honored and celebrated Juneteenth as part of a week-long Arts Break. This year we’re combining celebration and activism with more activities from New Victory Teaching Artists that call each of us to harness our creativity in commemoration of the past and in service of the ongoing fight for equity and liberation.
In honor of Juneteenth, New Victory LabWorks and Guggenheim’s Works & Process are proud to partner with 2020-21 New Victory LabWorks Artist Christopher Rudd to share his artistry with audiences of all ages this week.
What do you see in the world? Last week, we developed creative characters through movement, and this week we’ll look at the places we live to help shape the stories we share. We may soon see that wherever we look, there’s joy to be found!
