Past Half Remembered is a remarkable story - both hilarious and poignant - of love, loss, calamity and hope. Past and present blur, characters are swept along by the great forces of history and lives are bowed and buffeted in this unique and captivating tale. “Heartwarming and winning,” (The Stage) Past Half Remembered uses physical comedy, song and storytelling to create “One of the funniest shows you’re likely to catch anywhere on the Fringe.” (The Scotsman) Performed in English, Czech, French and Norwegian, New International Encounter’s dramatic tour-de-force views history not from a grand geo-political perspective, but from the insightful and ironic outlook of someone whose ordinary life is unexpectedly affected by extraordinary events.
