- The New Victory Theater presents a diverse season of theater, dance, circus, vaudeville, puppetry and music from around the world. We seek out sophisticated, thought-provoking, professional productions that are as artistically rich as they are stimulating and entertaining. In order to find the productions that will ultimately be presented on our stage each season, our Programming Department travels extensively, viewing over 200 productions a year. They attend national and international festivals, comb arts listings and reviews, and cultivate relationships with artists and agents. They also receive and view hundreds of unsolicited videotapes each year.
Approximately fourteen companies are chosen per season with an average run of two to four weeks each. Most companies perform an eight-show week, including school-time matinees and public performances. Each season features a mix of performing arts genres and age ranges in order to accomodate all facets of our audience base.
The work we present features adult, professional performers. Very rarely do we have artists under the age of eighteen on our stage – this is the exception rather than the rule.
BOOKING CYCLE
The performance calendar typically runs September to June and is booked anywhere from six to eighteen months in advance.
SUBMISSIONS
Companies wishing to be considered for inclusion in a future season should submit a cover letter, company history, past and current reviews, a touring itinerary (if applicable), technical requirements, photos and a full-length video to:

The New Victory Theater is located on the new 42nd Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues at
209 West 42nd Street.
Many subways stop right at the Theater:
1, 2, 3, 7, N, R, Q, W, Shuttle to Times Square
(For the station exit that is just steps from the Theater, use the staircase found on your right after going through the main station turnstiles for 42nd Street and 7th Avenue. These are the turnstiles found by the exit at the back of the downtown 1, 2, 3 train.)
A, C, E to Port Authority
And the M10, M16, M27, M42, M104 buses all stop within one block of the Theater
