Every summer, Victory Dance celebrates the incredible artistry and diversity of NYC dance with performances specifically curated for young audiences.

Featuring a cross-section of highly accomplished and internationally recognized New York-based companies, Program A (performance information here) and Program B (performance information here) offers a full summer of dance at The Duke on 42nd Street (just down the block from the New Vic) for only $10 per ticket!

Part of the theater's initiative to provide daytime dance performances and dance education to City-run summer schools, subsidized day camps and social service agencies, Victory Dance reaches more than 3,500 NYC kids every year.

Victory Dance is supported, in part, by the Jerome Robbins Foundation, Howard Gilman Foundation, Jody and John Arnhold, public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and the Harkness Foundation for Dance.

About Victory Dance

While the New Victory lobbies undergo an exciting renovation, these summer performances move down the block to The Duke on 42nd Street. Enjoy a celebration of New York City dance from the intimate setting of this black-box theater.

Attending the Performance

All New Victory venues are located on the north side of 42nd Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues, and are wheelchair accessible.

The majority of this season's performances are presented at The New Victory, a 499-seat, historic, jewel box theater. Make yourselves at home in our lobbies (redesigned Fall 2017!) and stow your stuff in free storage lockers.
